Founded in 2010, Cheshire Gold Xchange began as a family-run precious metals buyer from a small 1st floor office location in Stockton Heath with one mission: to give Cheshire residents a transparent, trustworthy, and high-value way to sell or invest in precious metals.
As demand grew through our insured postal service and increased local exposure, we moved into a two-storey high-street premises at 3 London Road, expanding our capacity while keeping service personal.
Today still family-owned, our focus is still on providing a selling environment that is pressure-free, secure, and comfortable.

We recycle over 150kg of precious-metal scrap annually, reducing the need for new mining, and putting cash into the hands of our valued customers.
We have been supporting Mind since June 2025. One of our greatest accomplishments, we partnered with mental-health charity Mind to turn jewellery that holds no precious-metal value into vital frontline support. When our testing identifies costume or gold-plated jewellery pieces, customers can now get the option to choose to donate those items instead of taking them back, or us disposing of them. We sort and forward the jewellery to Mind, at no cost to the charity, allowing Mind to retail these pieces in their network of high-street shops, where every sale helps fund the Mind Infoline, counselling services and peer-support groups across England and Wales. The scheme not only boosts access to mental-health assistance but also diverts quality items from landfill, promoting a circular-economy approach to reuse.
