    What Did Rolex Announce At Watches & Wonder Show 2023

    The most awaited day of the year among watch lovers was March 27. It is the first day of the Watches & Wanders show held in Geneva, and Rolex has chosen that very day to present the new models for 2023. In order not to keep you in suspense any longer, here are the novelties that Rolex has prepared for us this year.

    The Cosmograph Daytona

    Rolex has commemorated the sixtieth anniversary of this model by introducing a complete revamp of the entire line. The design of the case and face has undergone subtle refinements to various details. A new graphic balance has been incorporated into the dial, while harmonious colour combinations accentuate the contrast between the dial and the counters. The Oyster case has also undergone a redesign, with its shape being emphasized by the reflections of light from the lugs and middle case.The latest Daytona will be available in different colours, including platinum, Oystersteel, and yellow gold, as well as a combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold. In the platinum version, recognizable by its ice-blue dial, the golden oscillating weight is visible through the transparent sapphire caseback – a first for the Oyster Perpetual collection.Starting this year, the Cosmograph Daytona is equipped with calibre 4131, which is a further development of calibre 4130.

    The 1908 (NEW MODEL)

    The Perpetual 1908 watch embodies Rolex’s daring spirit with its elegant, classic, and contemporary design. This timepiece was created through the brand’s extensive in-house expertise and commitment to excellence.Equipped with the newly introduced calibre 7140, the 1908 is a completely new model that reimagines the Oyster Perpetual style from 1931 and brings it up-to-date with modern sensibilities. It features numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock, and a small seconds hand at 6 o’clock.This model will be available in both yellow and white gold.

    The Yacht-Master 42

    Rolex has unveiled a new variation of the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42 watch, crafted from lightweight RLX titanium known for its mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion. The watch features a combination of polished and technical satin finishes, which create a subtle interplay of textures that reflect light.The new version remains true to the original design with its bidirectional rotatable bezel, matt black Cerachrom insert with raised and polished numerals and graduations, and an Oyster bracelet. The watch boasts an intense black dial with a delicate satin finish, and it is well-suited for competitive sailing with its exceptional watchmaking craftsmanship and focus on athletic performance.

    The Sky-Dweller

    Rolex has introduced several improvements to the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller collection. The range features a new version made of 18 ct white gold with a bright black dial, paired with an Oysterflex bracelet.The Sky-Dweller also boasts new dial colours, including a delicate mint green on the white Rolesor variation and an elegant blue-green on the 18 ct Everose gold model with an Oyster bracelet. Furthermore, the collection has been updated with a new movement that incorporates the latest advancements in Rolex technology, called calibre 9002.

    The GMT-Master II

    Rolex has released two new versions of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II watch, which mark the return of 18 ct yellow gold to the model.The first version combines Oystersteel and yellow gold and is known as yellow Rolesor, while the second model is crafted entirely from this precious metal. Both versions share common features, such as a two-color, 24-hour graduated monobloc Cerachrom bezel insert in a new grey shade and black ceramic.The watches are exclusively fitted on a Jubilee bracelet with an Oysterlock safety clasp and the Easylink comfort extension link. They are powered by caliber 3285, a cutting-edge movement in watchmaking technology.

    The Explorer 40

    Rolex has expanded its Oyster Perpetual Explorer collection with a new 40 mm model that offers improved legibility. This watch possesses all the characteristics that have made the Explorer a reference among the brand’s first professional watches for many decades.Made of Oystersteel, an alloy that is exclusive to Rolex and is simple, strong, and corrosion-resistant, the new Explorer 40 is an essential watch for exploration.

    The Oyster Perpetual
